Enhanced muscle mass, power, endurance and recovery through PBM (Photobiomodulation)

Irradiation of visible ray and near-infrared ray of certain wavelength spectrum plays a big role in producing powerful energy during exercise. Also, irradiation of this light source increases post-exercise recovery speed. It was discovered in multiple clinical trials that muscle enhancement, fat loss, and increased power/endurance is closely related to amount of ATP production at mitochondria, a tissue cell. On average, muscle tissue contains more mitochondria than other body tissue or organ tissue, when compared in cellular unit. The reason why muscle tissue reacts faster to Photobiomodulation (PBM) than other tissues is because muscle operates first in all types of activity, which would require more ATP. Following is part of articles and research papers that studied effect of irradiation of light source of a certain spectrum on exercise and muscle tissues.
